30 trails totaling some 240 kilometers in length offer all the variety you could hope for. Ambitious fans of skating technique will find 160 km tracked especially for them. Great snow conditions until well into spring are guaranteed by alpine trails in Schönfeld-Thomatal, on the Karneralm, next to the Prebersee, in Mariapfarr-Lignitz and on the Katschberg. Access points along the trails are within easy reach using public buses.

Seal of Quality

The Lungau Region was awarded the Trail Seal of Quality.
Requirements: min. 30 km network of ski trails, snow guaranteed 80 days a year, permanent grooming, clearly marked incl. panorama info boards at access points, as well as plenty of parking. Also essential is a cross-country ski school with equipment rental.

Snowshoeing
